WKO 2008 Shinkyokushin European championship
WKO Shinkyokushin European Championship was held in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, on 23 – 24 May 2008.06.26

The junior European Championship was held on May 23. The junior competed in kata and kumite events. The kata event was arranged separately for men and women. In the kumite (fighting) event men competed in the following weight categories: -55 kg, -60 kg, -65 kg, -70 kg, -75 kg, +75 kg. Women competed in the following weight categories: -55 kg, -60 kg, -65 kg, +65 kg.
On May 24 the European Championship was held in kata and kumite events. Men competed in the following weight categories: -70 kg, -80 kg, -90 kg, +90 kg. Women competed in the following weight categories: -55 kg, -65 kg, +65 kg.
